# MintBox Lucky Digit vs. Referral Earnings

Inviting may bring two different kinds of benefits:

1. **Referral Earnings**: a long-term referral reward tied to secondary-market trading revenue from your invitees, currently at 10% (the platform reserves the right to adjust this rate).
2. **MintBox Lucky Digit**: a MintBox invite bonus that applies only within a specific MintBox and is used to improve the winning odds of your Tickets in that MintBox. For every friend you successfully invite to participate in the current MintBox, if that friend's cumulative commitment in the current MintBox is greater than 100 USDC, you receive 1 Lucky Digit (the exact threshold follows the rules of that MintBox).

They're separate mechanisms: Referral Earnings doesn't change Ticket rankings or add Box supply, and MintBox Lucky Digit only applies within a specific MintBox.
