# 我们是什么：一个卡牌交易平台

Market.Cards 是一个「投资于人」的平台——你热爱的球员，以及一张能代表他的稀缺卡牌。

从定义层面看，Market.Cards 是一个卡牌交易平台。

我们之所以选择卡牌，是因为在围绕「人」的所有稀缺品类里，卡牌是少有的同时具备**标准化、发行体系与定价体系**的品类——它能把围绕一个个体（Character）形成的稀缺性、故事与市场关注，凝结到一张可被持有、被定价、被交易的卡上。这个个体既可以是一位体育明星，也可以是一位动漫人物。

从起点看，我们选择**世界杯（World Cup）和足球**作为出发，有两个原因：

1. 头部足球球星卡当前价格结构性低于头部篮球卡（约为后者的 1/3 到 1/4）——我们选择从起点价格相对较低的品类切入，对早期用户更友好；
2. 世界杯之外，足球还有五大联赛全年持续支撑，球员表现窗口几乎不间断。

从世界杯出发，未来我们会逐步拓展到更多体育品类，以及动漫（Anime / Manga）、TCG（Trading Card Game，集换式卡牌）等其他围绕 Character 形成的卡牌品类。
